Now is the time
Dalai Lama, Stop Lying (in Tibetan)
to dispel false accusations against the innocent.
Excuse me, would you like to talk?
What lies are they talking about? What religious freedom are they talking about?
The Dalai Lama has never stopped nothing. [Not True]
The monastery I studied in, it has a relationship with Dorje Shugden and also Gyalchen.
In Sera-Mey Monastery my teachers – there are two teachers – and we have a house
there’s about 50 people – monks who are from the same hometown, and out of all these people, my teachers, they are with the Dalai Lama, and they abandoned this practice.
Because I continued to practice Dorje Shugden, I had to be separated [True] from my teachers.
So generally the teacher should be someone who is guiding his disciples in a spiritual path, not in any political or other mundane path.
Q: Did you know that they have been voting in the monasteries and monks have been expelled?
If they want to pray to whoever, the Dalai Lama has never stopped nobody. [Not True]
[They have] their own religious freedom. [Not True]
They are used by Chinese, they’re only after a few dollars. [Not True]
They are paid by Chinese. Yeah. [Not True]
Dalai Lama, Stop Lying
Q: They say you are paid by the Chinese, is this true?
It’s not true at all, not true at all. There’s no evidence of that.
It’s just an insult because we criticize the Dalai Lama.
Q: How did you pay to get here?
I paid through my own means, from my own savings.
Q: And the others?
Yes, everybody paid through their own means. They have no evidence – it’s just an insult.
Q: Then why do they say it?
Because we criticize the Dalai Lama, so therefore if we criticize the Dalai Lama, we must be supported by the Chinese. It’s just some logic that they bring together, or some insult. I think it’s the only insult they can bring because maybe they can’t understand why we’re doing this.
You shouldn’t do that. He never said “no” to these people. He just said it’s not good. I think it’s not good to do what they’re doing right now. He never says, “Stop.” He never says, “Stop.” [Not True]
He never says, “Stop” [Not True]
Q: Is it wrong that people are ostracized because they don’t agree with the Dalai Lama?
No, it’s not that. The people – you go and talk to them because if you go and talk with them, we’re going to go for the Dalai Lama, and they’re going to go against the Dalai Lama. Whenever foreigners come together, they always cause a fight.
This is not only myself. There are many other monks who are experiencing the same problems: separation from their teachers … [True]
Some of them even came from monasteries and stayed with their teachers since they were 8 or 9 years old. In my monastery, Sera-Mey, we used to have 800 monks initially. After this controversy, all the segregation and separation, so now we have only 300 monks. A group of Tibetans from the demonstration were accosted by pro-Dalai Lama Tibetans as they were about to board their bus. We’re waiting for what’s happening after this, and some people were exploding again and provoking me continually.
People approaching the car, and saying “Oh, I know you very well. Come back to India – I will kill you.” [True]
The Dalai Lama has destroyed Shugden Temples and shrines, and caused millions of people to experience great suffering. In India also, in Dharamsala, in a nunnery they break down the Dorje Shugden statues and put them in the garbage. [True]
In a place, it’s called Manali, also the same thing they’re doing, they take out the statue and break it. Forced to become refugees for the second time in their life as they try to escape persecution. Right now he has difficulty himself from the family point of view. If he shows his faith, maybe somebody hurts his family – that’s why he doesn’t show his face on the video. He says America is the most democratic country – more freedom country – even here you see we have a lot of problems and pressure, and we’re always in some sort of fear that maybe somebody will be beating me.
For example, recently at the New York demonstrations in July, and after that night the Tibetan people took their pictures of Tibetan people – those who participated in this demonstration. They put the very big photo in everywhere, in Tibetan areas like Jackson Heights, in restaurants, in coffee shops. [sign: These People Are the Supporters of Chinese] That means, do something to them.
That is the meaning: to kill, or to beat, or to torture. [sign: Beware of These People] Then you can see how people are having difficulty in India and Nepal.
