Dalai Lama Meets Parliamentary Committee at Portcullis House

Dalai Lama Stop Lying!

I’m from Melbourne in Australia and I’ve come to protest against the Dalai Lama’s persecution. He is banned anyone who does this prayer from public office, from having travel permits, from completing their education. He is trying to throw them all out from the monasteries. It’s an action of religious persecution which is unacceptable in a modern age especially by someone who promotes themselves as a beacon of religious freedom.

Dalai Lama Lectures at The Royal Albert Hall

You’ll see my job is to organize 500 breakfasts for people on the buses. There’s about 10 or 11 buses and about 700 or 800 lunches when people got to the actual demonstration and then jumping on and off the buses with all the food and all the water and every time we stop we were checking whether other people had water because, you know, especially after such a long day of traveling from 4 o’clock in the morning to whenever time we go home 1 o’clock at night, you know, people want food, they need water, you know, that’s why we were providing it.

I was coming out of the tube station and walking up Exhibition Road. It’s kind of like I couldn’t see any recognizable faces. I was kind of like ‘Where is everyone?’ and then you turn around the corner It’s like ‘Oh My Goodness!’ and walk towards The Royal Albert Hall and there’s just banners and signs and just everyone mad.

I’ve never been a part of the demonstration before and it was a very powerful activity I could feel that it was in no way ordinary. I was doing this not only for myself but for all the other Dorje practitioners around the world now and in the future. So I’m really thanks for that to had an opportunity to go out and to show my support for the many practitioners who hold Dorje Shugden dear in their hearts and who also have the same understanding as I do that he is a key part of my faith and there is no Buddhist practice without him.

I forgot about myself totally it was just like all immerse, one with the chanting one with the voice.

We were just happy to be able to ask for freedom, for religious freedom basically and to think a bit further, not just for our own practice but for other people in India and throughout the world really.

Religious freedom is for everybody and it’s important.

23 May – 9:00am
Lambeth Palace

So we’re here today protesting against the Dalai Lama’s ban on the practice of Dorje Shugden. He is in Lambert Palace today meeting with Gordon Brown the British Primer Minister and he is talking about Human Rights and religious freedom but he is repressing at the same time his own people within Tibetan society in India. He’s actually a hypocrite and we’re trying to wake up the rest of the world with facts so they can go and investigate by themselves the actual human rights abuses that the Dalai Lama and his government are putting on their own people in Tibetan society. That’s the purpose of the protest.

Dalai Lama Give, Religious Freedom!

I feel very strongly about it. This is more important than anything I can imagine really.
