The Dalai Lama of Tibet - The Truth Behind the Myth
The 14th Dalai Lama
The Fourteenth Dalai Lama’s many failings and indiscretions have been an open secret amongst the Tibetans for decades. Since he is determined to exploit his reputation and power in order to destroy the practice of Dorje Shugden and the lineage of his kind Spiritual Guides, it has become necessary to expose his real nature to the world:
Many people will be shocked to learn about the Dalai Lama’s CIA connections, but even those who supported him in the hope of combating the rise of communism will be horrified to learn that he is a communist just like those they were trying to overthrow.
One of the greatest deceptions the world has witnessed is the Dalai Lama pretending to follow Ghandian non-violence – a pretence that won him the Nobel Peace Prize – when in reality he supports violence.
Other skeletons in the Dalai Lama’s closet include his close friendships with prominent Nazis – including war criminals – (how many people know of the close relationship between Tibet and Nazi Germany throughout the Dalai Lama’s childhood?).
Furthermore, despite his bold claims to be a champion of religious freedom, it is quite clear from the testimony of many persecuted Shugden practitioners, that in fact he suppresses religious freedom.
Prominent Tibetans and scholars of Tibet declare that the unelected leader of the Tibetan people suppresses democracy and freedom of expression in the Exile community; and that despite holding absolute power over every aspect of Tibetan society for several decades he has failed to make any progress toward freeing his homeland, showing that the Dalai lama is incompetent.
Another area of great disappointment for those who have put their faith in him will be the Dalai Lama's murky finances. Close scrutiny of the Tibetan government and the Free Tibet movement reveals rampant nepotism and gross corruption.
The present Dalai Lama is a hypocrite and a dictator and senior figures in Tibetan Society have cast doubt on whether he is a Dalai Lama at all, or rather simply an imposter enthroned for political convenience.
He pretends to represent Buddhism but relies on dubious spirits and oracles rather than on Buddha’s teachings and his spiritual guides. His policy of mixing religion and politics to fulfil his worldly goals is a great stain on the Buddhist faith.
Whether or not the present Dalai Lama is the real Dalai Lama (a true embodiment of Buddha’s compassion) - as he claims - should be judged not on the Dalai Lama’s words or on the mystique surrounding his position, but by his actions. And on the evidence presented in this website the Dalai Lama’s actions have fallen short of even ordinary standards of decent behaviour let alone the enlightened actions of a Buddha.
The Previous Dalai Lamas
Originally the Dalai Lamas were pure followers of Je Tsongkhapa devoted to their spiritual lives and benefitting others, uninvolved in politics. From the Fifth Dalai Lama onwards, the institution became corrupt. The later Dalai Lamas engaged in actions that would be considered unacceptable by any ordinary person, let alone someone who claims to be the embodiment of enlightened compassion.
Torture and Execution Ordered by the Thirteenth Dalai Lama
The 13th Dalai Lama was notorious as an autocratic leader of his people. During his time, he personally ordered cruel punishments to be inflicted on his people.
Prisoners of the Potala: The Sixth to Twelfth Dalai Lamas
None of these Dalai Lamas showed any leadership to the Tibetan people. The Sixth Dalai Lama broke his moral disciple and had numerous affairs, while most of these Dalai Lamas were murdered by their regents.
Wars and Murders ordered by the Fifth Dalai Lama
The Fifth Dalai Lama was a power hungry schemer who gradually eliminated all his opponents until he secured absolute rule over Tibet for himself. His life story is drenched in the blood of those who stood in his way.
The Pure Dharma of the Early Dalai Lamas
These precious Lamas earned the respect of others through the purity of their spiritual lives. They held no political office and aspired only to pass on the pure teachings they received from their Spiritual Guides.
